About Our School
Monck Public School is a vibrant learning community that offers quality programming for students JK – Grade 8. We are the French Immersion school (SK – Grade 8) for the Gravenhurst and Bracebridge areas (80 km radius) providing students with quality French Immersion and Core French instruction. Together, the French and English programs offered at our school work to provide a holistic learning community for our students.
As the largest elementary school in the Trillium Lakelands District School Board we also offer a Quality Physical Education program to our students, JK through Grade 8. We also have a vibrant music program offering students a variety of instrumental learning opportunities. Students have daily access to technology that is integrated into the instructional program. Monck has a unique Special Education Program that supports students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a structured learning environment. As a community school located in the center of Bracebridge, our students benefit from the positive interactions with local businesses and resources.
